Wedding Planner Schools – How to Plan the Order of Events at Your Wedding Reception
If you are getting married and planning for your wedding reception, I would like to congratulate you and wish you good luck for the future. Every one would want their big day to be a memorable event, so here you have found a wedding planner for you; as I would suggest you a simple but comprehensive wedding reception in order.
Traditionally we have some events in the wedding reception which are inevitable, they are mentioned below.
* Reception of the guests: Be prepared to receive your guests on time and make sure that you come on time to receive your guests. At times some guests do not come on time, so make arrangement of good music for the guests who are on time. Entertain them with drinks.
* Introduction of the wedding party: the Master of the ceremony will give the introduction of the wedding party to the guests.
* Introduction of bride and the groom: After the introduction of wedding party the MC will give the introduction of the newly wed couple in a very gentle way. Ask your wedding planner to arrange some music for this special moment to enhance the emotions.
* Blessings: now it’s the time for blessing the couple, it is a traditional event and religious minded people give special attention to this. Request the priest to conduct the blessings.
* Food to be served: Many people will come to greet you but don’t be late to go to the food as it is customary for the bride and the groom to start the food line.
* Wedding cake: Now it’s time to cut the wedding cake. Cut the cake together, the bride will feed the cake to the groom then the groom will feed the half of that piece to the bride.
* Toasting the couple: the bride and the groom will toast each other, inter lock their arms and drink. Followed by the bride’s maid and the best man. Then the other family will do the same.
* Bride and the groom’s dance: now it’s the time for the bride and the groom’s first dance as husband and wife.
* Father and daughter dance: now the bride will dance with her father and father in law.
* Mother and son dance: In the same way the groom will dance with his mother and mother in law.
* Bouquet and garter toss: A very interesting and traditional event, the bride will toss her bouquet towards the single females and sit down immediately then the groom will take off the brides garter and toss towards the single males.
* Dancing for all: ask your wedding planner to arrange good music for the end dance. Now every one would be invited for the dance.
Different religions and cults have different ceremonies. A good Wedding Planner School will always teach how to care about traditions, customs and religion of the families. Wedding planner schools are producing top notch professionals who can handle any event in a very befitting manner.
So if you are planning to hire a pro for helping you plan and manage your wedding make sure that he or she is qualified enough because like any other profession, anyone without a certification from a wedding planner school will mean disaster!
